Billr — Freelance Invoice & Payment Tracker

  • Research: Interviewed 4 freelancers — most send invoices via WhatsApp/PDF and track payments in notebooks, with no visibility into client status.
  • Insight: The real pain wasn't invoicing — it was the awkwardness of following up on unpaid invoices.
  • Design: Designed a 6-screen flow with a reusable component library — invoice creator, WhatsApp-first send, open-status tracker, one-tap reminders, empty states, payment confirmation.
  • Next: Not yet usability-tested; next step is validating whether 'opened' status changes follow-up behaviour.

Zomato Support Flow — Redesign

Independent UX Audit & Redesign

  • Problem: Audited real support-chat screenshots — found the bot failing a medical-emergency report, and a chat auto-closing mid-conversation.
  • Design: Redesigned the escalation and human-handoff path so urgent cases reach a person instead of a dead end.
  • Next: Usability testing to validate the escalation triggers against real user urgency.
